Playtime: Over 2 weeks
Position Applying For: LCZ Manager
Why do you want to become the LCZ Manager, and what motivates you to take on this responsibility within the Foundation?
I’ve been a part of Maintenance HCMD for a long time, and I want to expand my responsibilities beyond my branch. I’ve helped create and refine SOPs for several departments including Research, Medical, and Maintenance. I’ve also assisted multiple HCMD and SCMD teams with their departmental work. Becoming LCZ Manager would allow me to support the Foundation on a wider scale and help improve coordination and structure within the zone.
Why should we accept you?
You should accept me because I have a strong understanding of LCZ safety procedures and cross-department operations. My leadership skills have grown through my time in Maintenance HCMD, and I am ready to apply them at a higher administrative level. My experience, reliability, and knowledge of Foundation protocol make me a strong candidate for LCZ Manager.
How do you handle conflicts between departments inside the LCZ?
When a conflict occurs, I begin by speaking with each department separately to understand the root of the issue. This lets me identify whether the conflict comes from miscommunication, unclear responsibilities, or an SOP violation. I then clarify expectations, reinforce the correct procedures, and work with both sides to resolve the situation professionally. If the conflict appears more serious or involves potential misconduct, I escalate it to the Internal Security Department. Since I am authorized to grant ISD provisional Level 4 clearance, I can give them access to restricted areas and the ability to detain personnel, including CL4 individuals or others they normally cannot arrest. This allows ISD to conduct a proper investigation and ensure that any deeper issues are addressed quickly and fairly. This approach maintains order within the LCZ while ensuring that all departments operate within Foundation standards and cooperate effectively.
How do you plan to coordinate with other departments while managing LCZ activates?
My plan is to maintain clear communication and proper departments. I would assign personnel to help ensure that Medical and Research SOPs are edited/modified. I would regularly check that each department inside the LCZ is following safety procedures, maintaining professionalism, and operating where they are needed. Coordination and compliance would be top priorities.
How would you handle a high-stress LCZ incident such as a containment breach or system failure?
I would start by activating the appropriate code such as Code Yellow, Orange, or Red depending on the severity of the breach.
If the breach is a direct threat to the LCZ, I would move all non-combative personnel to breach shelters or their bunks. I would direct E-11 and NU-7 to respond to the breach while Security secures LCZ - HCZ checkpoints and the D Block area.
If the breach is not yet affecting LCZ, I would place all non-combative personnel on high alert and ensure they avoid checkpoints. Security would secure both LCZ - HCZ checkpoints while E-11 and NU-7 handle the containment.
My focus is always on safety, communication, and stabilizing the situation as fast as possible.
